If your appliances are fixed, serviced and seem in good condition, even if they are outdated, you are more likely to get the price you demand for your house. Some buyers cannot afford new appliances so although your appliances may be dated, once they are well maintained and work, a buyer may feel more confident and comfortable offering you the price you asked for.
